We continue our trip description...

This time, we go to Koh Phi Phi Leh.

This island became famous thanks to the movie "the beach"

Bird nests... Thai people collect the nectar (gloubs) and drink it. Bird nest nectar provides better health.

 

Under the sea

Program: scuba diving for the father and snorkeling for the young ones. Visibility so so but tons of fishs (including turtles, barracouda or murene)

The biggest island. More damaged by tourism and hotels but there's still clear water

A long tail story...

During our vacation, all had started and finished by long tail trips. Logical, you will tell us as we spent the first part of our vacation on a island: Koh Phi Phi.

Koh Phi Phi is in the South of Thailand, close to Phuket. It is the most beautiful place we've seen in years !!!

After 2 hours, we end up in front of the hotel, on a wonderful sandy beach with turquoise water.

We're back after spending 1 week holiday in a wonderful place

So the big socks are they to protect us against these monkeys? 

 or this one (a local specie but very dangerous)

 or deers?

No no, none of them...

It's to protect us against blood suckers !!!

Guess why we had to wear these nice socks?

For elephants? Not sure it will be quite efficient.

For cobra, don't know, we luckily didn't see any.
