Second temple: Ta Prohm

And what a different impression! We feel like Indiana Jones looking for a treasure in a forgotten temple.

Mother nature conquered this temple. It is impressive to see these big trees on top of the roofs and wonder how the temples still stands up.

Ta Prohm is under restoration (this arch has just been rebuilt).

But many stones are still on the floor for the happiness of the kids.

And as always, a treasure hunt looking for a wonderful mural sculpture.

And more trees... Sorry we are so impressed that we need to show you.The mix of nature and historical place match so well.

 

 

And of course, Buddhas ...

 

Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is the most famous temple. It is also the biggest one.

The architecture is wonderful but the beauty is also on the details with

 all the Buddhas

and the mural scenes. This fine art is impressive.

Angkor is also a worship place.

and a treasure hunt for kids, looking for the famous little details amoung all these beauties.
